Booking terms & house rules

A booking is confirmed when we have received your deposit or full payment and sent you a written confirmation. The lead guest must be at least 18 years old and takes responsibility for the whole party during the stay.

The number of guests, including children, must not exceed the maximum stated on the home's page. Please tell us at the time of booking if any of the party changes.

For stays starting more than 30 days away you can pay in full, pay a 25% deposit (with the balance due 30 days before arrival), or split into three instalments. For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

A booking is held for 30 minutes while you complete card payment. Promo codes and gift vouchers can be applied at checkout where valid.

All prices are in pounds sterling and are charged exclusive of VAT, with UK VAT (20%) added at checkout on every stay.

Free cancellation up to 30 days before check-in for a full refund of anything paid. Cancellations inside 30 days are non-refundable, though we will always do what we can to move your stay to another set of dates.

We recommend travel insurance for any stay. If we ever need to cancel a booking on our side, we will refund every penny you have paid.

Standard check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am. Early check-in or late check-out can sometimes be arranged for an additional fee, subject to the changeover.

Self check-in works at any hour with a door code we send you before arrival.

No smoking or vaping inside the home. Well-behaved pets (dogs, cats and similar household animals) are welcome at homes marked pet-friendly, at £35 per pet per stay for additional cleaning. Pets must not be left unattended inside the home.

Please respect neighbours by keeping noise reasonable, especially between 10pm and 8am. No parties or events without prior written agreement.

The lead guest is responsible for any damage caused during the stay, including damage caused by a pet. Please tell us straight away if anything is broken or not working, so we can put it right for you and the next guests.

We take great care with every home. To the extent permitted by law, Wick & Co is not liable for loss of personal belongings, or for events outside our reasonable control that affect the stay.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under UK law.
