Accessibility at Wick & Co
Last updated 9 July 2026
We want every guest to feel welcome, whatever their needs. This page sets out what we do today, where the honest limitations sit, and how to reach us if we can help with the finer details before you book.
In our homes
Each home on our site has an honest accessibility summary on its page, covering steps, thresholds, doorway widths, bathroom layout and parking. We don't claim step-free access unless a home genuinely offers it.
If a specific need matters for your stay, message us before booking with the detail and we'll walk the home for you and confirm what we can and can't offer.
On this website
We aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standard. That includes readable type, clear focus states, sensible colour contrast, semantic headings, alt text on meaningful images, keyboard navigation across the site, and captions on any video we publish.
The site is built to work with modern screen readers, and to reflow cleanly at 200% zoom or on small screens. We test on VoiceOver and NVDA as part of the release routine.
Known limitations
Some journal photography relies on natural light and may render with lower contrast in captions. If a specific piece is hard to read, tell us and we'll rework it.
Third-party embeds, such as maps, sit outside our direct control. We provide address and travel information in plain text alongside any embed.
Get in touch
If something on the site isn't working for you, or you'd like a home walked through in more detail, email hello@wickandco.co.uk. We aim to reply within one working day and to fix reported issues within ten.
