A little on the way we pick, prepare and look after every home. There's no formula, but there is a list.
Wick & Co is a small collection, on purpose. Every home we add takes months of looking, weeks of preparing and a lot of small decisions. Here's roughly how we think about it.
The location has to earn its keep
A home has to be somewhere we'd want to spend a weekend ourselves, not just somewhere with good short-let numbers. That usually means a walkable town centre with independent places to eat, or open countryside with a serious walk from the door.
The space has to work for real people
Multiple bedrooms so nobody's sharing who doesn't want to. A proper kitchen for a real meal, not a hob and a microwave. A lounge where five people can sit comfortably. A workspace that isn't the dining table.
The details are what actually matter
Hotel quality linen, blackout blinds in the bedrooms, a fast wifi router in a place where it works, streaming already signed in, mugs that don't wobble, a decent knife. We spend the first week in every new home noticing what isn't quite right and fixing it before the first guests arrive.
The care never stops
Professional housekeeping between every stay, seasonal deep cleans, and a maintenance run every few weeks. There's someone on our team you can actually reach while you're staying, and the same person the next time you book.
